Marine Renewable Energy and the Natural Heritage: An Overview and Policy Statement

Abstract

An overview of the potential impacts on natural heritage which may arise from different forms of marine renewable energy development, and the locational considerations which should guide such development in relation to natural heritage interests. Based upon that analysis, the paper sets out Scottish Natural Heritage’s policy approach towards marine renewables.
